Doyden Point is a friendly cliff that enjoys a sunny outlook with a choice of good routes to keep most content for an afternoon. It is only a short distance from the quaint fishing village of Port Isaac and the surf beaches of Polzeath.Approach See area map on page 164Take the B3314 off of the A39 either at Camelford or Wadebridge dependent on the direction of approach. Follow signs off of the B3314 for Port Quin and follow a narrow lane to the tiny fishing hamlet and park in the National Trust car park. TidesThe base of Doyden Point is not tidal but is to be avoided in heavy seas. ConditionsDoyden Point enjoys a sunny westerly aspect and dries very quickly.
