The central face is an impressive sheer face of quarried limestone that is home to some spectacular trad and sport wall climbs. Only the best of the routes are covered here but there are many more climbs on either side of the Main Wall. There is a campsite next to the lake under the crag and good pubs a short walk away in Uphill village.
