Long Quarry Point

Long Quarry Point is a massive bay of quarried rock composed of huge limestone slabs and walls home to adventurous trad climbs and some tough sport pitches. Flanking the quarried section are two natural crags - the Sanctuary Wall and the lesser Exile Buttress. The former is a gravity-defying wall lurching out over the water that features some of the most impressive trad climbing in the West Country. The main quarry has two big walls - a near vertical sport wall, and a more slabby trad wall. Exile Buttress is a small shady wall with a pleasant set of sport routes.
