Fisherman\'s Ledge

Fisherman\'s Ledge is one of the major venues of Swanage and in terms of styles it is undoubtedly the most diverse, with climbs that range from some of the UK\'s prime deep water solos to a motherlode of enormous roof climbs. The most frequented routes are the magnificent deep water solos of The Conger Area and the neighbouring Funky Wall whilst the less easily viewed Palace of the Brine conceals some of the UKs preeminent roof climbs. Many of the big roof lines are sport climbs but spread across the whole of Fisherman\'s ledge are many trad climbs some very serious and others technical and occasionally both.
