Surrounding the village of Blaenau Ffestiniog, the Moelwyns offer some great climbs. You will find easier grades on Clogwyn yr Oen and Craig yr Wrysgan, and some much steeper and more challenging routes on Craig y Clipiau. There are also a few outlying crags including two pleasant sport climbing venues near the village. This is a quiet backwater and you can often escape the crowds on even the warmest of summer days.
