Tremadog (Pant Ifan)

Pant Ifan is one of the best crags at Tremadog, but the slightly longer and steeper walk-in puts many off hence much of it is usually quieter than Bwlch y Moch. The quality of the climbing is easily on a par with the best on offer elsewhere at Tremadog. Routes like Poor Man\'s Peuterey, Fingerlicker, Vulcan and the aretes of Cardiac, Silly and Scratch are climbs to rival many in the country. There are three main areas of cliff: the Upper Tier, which is always popular with groups; the Scratch Area, which gets most of the attention; and the quieter Strangeways and Hogmanay Buttresses.
